How long does each lesson take?Lessons can be completed in 60 minutes, and expanded for independent or additional guided instruction including optional activities and the online assessment.

What age-group is XplorStem Elementary designed for?XplorStem Elementary is tailored for students in grades K-5, providing hands-on science adventures that align with NGSS standards. Younger students may require more guidance from teachers while older students can complete the program independently.

Are supplies included, or do I need to purchase them separately?We provide a materials list. All labs use common household items that may be purchased at a grocery or department store.

How long is the camp?The camp runs for two weeks at 3 hours per day but may be adjusted to fit your schedule.

Who is this bootcamp for?High school students interested in biotech careers, hands-on lab skills, and industry-recognized certifications.

Do students receive a certificate?Yes! Students receive a completion certification and have the option to earn industry-aligned micro-credentials recognized by biotech employers.

Is there a pre-requiste?We have taught students from freshman with no training to graduating seniors with multiple AP classes. Early students learn concepts and will have a real-world perspective going into higher level science classes while graduating seniors may obtain more advanced certifications for job placement.

What are the schedule options?We offer flexible scheduling, including after-school programs, in-school workshops, and summer bootcamps.

Do you provide literacy support?All of our videos have subtitles with word highlights coordinated with text. This supports word recognition indirectly improving reading and literacy.

Are all of your programs bilingual?Yes! All of our programs are fully bilingual English and Spanish and many have been used on both sides of the border. Translations were provided by a Mexico native.

Do you support different learning styles?Yes! We support visual and text-based learning incorporating story-telling and music to improve retention.
